Sunday night church makeup

Hello! It's Sunday and I just came from our church's 7pm service. Before we left, I took some low quality photobooth pictures of how I wore my hair and makeup this evening.

I told you they were low quality! :D This one was after I did my hair, before all the makeup. See my dark circles??? And my lips were extraordinarily dry. My hair was side swept into a messy bun. I had to curl my hair a little bit to add volume. Plus, I put tons of mousse and hair spray to secure everything. I have really short hair that misbehaves when up-done.

This is what it looks like from the back but, obviously, this picture doesn't help at all!

For makeup, I used achromatic colors (shades of black) of eyeshadow, without eyeliner! I usually go out with eyeliner on my top lids to make my eyes fuller and less chinky. But I was too lazy to do so. It turned out pretty decent, I think.

I contoured my nose but, sadly, it doesn't show on photobooth that much. I did a little bit of blush (actually darker than usual, since it's evening) and contouring in the cheek hollows and the jaw line. With a face this round, contouring is the way to go! HAHA. I didn't touch my eyebrows anymore coz we were running late! Luckily, my eyebrows are bushy enough to survive without pencil. =D

Tadaaaa! My sunday night church makeup. =D

Bye bye eyebrows!

A month ago, in make up school, we were required to do the 40's makeup look where they had really high eyebrows. Our teacher taught us to "erase" eyebrows through spirit gum and eyebrow wax! HOWEVER, since I'm a cheapo-ass (or I really can't afford anything) I had to look for other ways to erase my sister's eyebrows without having to shave them off. :)

Tantananan! The trick? Thank God for all the youtubers! Elmers glue stick does the whole spirit gum+eyebrow wax shebang. And Kandee Johnson even says using glue gives better results.

I had fun erasing Genine's eyebrows. She looked really creepy and weird, lalo na with the Stitch ears! I plan to do this again on her, when her skin isn't all sensitive na. So she won't break out. Oh, and the elmer's glue was really easy to take out since it's water based. She just removed it with a damp cloth and warm water.

You can do tons of stuff without eyebrows! Lalo if you cosplay, or you want character/costume makeup for halloween! I might do this this halloween. I go all out 'coz it's my favorite holiday. Plus I learned lots of new tricks na! So I can show off.

HEHEHEHEHE.
